Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer designs and implements the manufacturing processes that deliver the plant's production goals for safety-critical powertrain components in a high-volume automotive environment. The role works with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Program Management to raise productivity, quality and efficiency, and supports new equipment and new product launches from process design through stable production. Key Responsibilities: Process Design and Implementation Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, drawing on product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and equipment capability, assembly methods and quality standards. Work with product development engineers to bring new products into the manufacturing process. Automation Design, build and implement automation that improves production efficiency and quality.
