BASIC FUNCTION. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for generating performance which exceeds customer's expectations while maintaining Operating Standards, achieving financial results and developing an outstanding team.. NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION. This position reports to the Area Manager.. Key internal relationships include other members of the area management team to integrate ideas and efforts, the Regional Manager for Restaurant Performance Reports, the Payroll Department and Corporate Services.. Key external relationships include the customer, suppliers, representatives from the Health and Safety Board, Fire Department, Labour Board.. The restaurant's Assistant Manager and/or Assistant Manager Trainee report directly to this position. Also reporting to this position are all hourly paid employees including shift supervisors.. Critical to success in this position are an ability to manage and lead a large, diverse, and customer focused team in a high volume business environment
