Objective: The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) works at Health Bound Health Network at Homecare division, provides clinical care to various clients. The OTAs take instruction from Occupational Therapists. Job Description: Assisting Occupational therapists with the delivery of the Plan of Management, including the application of therapeutic modalities, exercise instruction/performance/supervision.. Record subjective symptoms of the patient's condition, review of previous treatment and outcomes. Carries out Ambulation & Transfer training, Activities of Daily Living (?ADL?) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (?IADL?) for clients. Carries out Upper Extremity program/Lower Extremity program, Range of Motion / stretching program, mobility training, transfer training, cognitive training, functional treatment.
