Reporting to the Director of Planning and Community Development, the Building Inspector is responsible for the administration, interpretation and enforcement of the BC Building Code, Building Bylaw and other applicable regulations. The successful candidate will review building permit applications, conduct inspections, provide technical advice to the public, support other departments on building-related matters, and work collaboratively with staff to ensure safe and compliant construction throughout the community.
