Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget. Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies. Provide advice in the area of food preparation and storage, and food safety. Establish and maintain contact with suppliers. Co-ordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
