Nursery Worker

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience (will train) Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Odours. Hot. Cold/refrigerated. Non-smoking Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Budding trees. Clean the crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Hand harvesting vegetables. Harvest seedlings. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Assist in grafting activities. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Type of crops:
