Cook? Chop N Block (Kamloops, BC): Our busy butcher shop and deli is looking for an experienced cook who values creativity, takes pride in their work, and enjoys interacting with customers.. This is a daytime-focused role (a rare thing in this industry), with occasional catering and event work. You'll be working closely with our butchery and deli teams to produce high-quality, house-made food rooted in traditional techniques and thoughtful use of whole ingredients.. If you're looking to step out of the late-night restaurant grind and into something more hands-on, creative, and product-driven?this is that role. What You'll Be Responsible For: Producing our line of ready-to-heat meals for retail (fresh and frozen). Maintaining a clean, full, and visually appealing retail display. Pickling, fermenting, and preserving for retail and charcuterie use. Building charcuterie boards and platters for customers and events. Assisting with on-site catering and event setup (weddings, corporate, etc.)
