Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Lawyer to join our legal team. Our firm consists of three lawyers, one student, and support staff. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the firm's legal operations by appearing frequently in court conducting thorough research, drafting legal documents, and conducting negotiations with Crowns and judges. Your proactive approach and strong analytical skills will contribute to delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. Duties: Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to gather relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents. Prepare and draft Charter applications and disclosure reviews.
