Apprentice Bricklayer

Salary: $27.50 to $32.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting: Construction. Repair Tasks: Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing. Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces. Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Own vehicle Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat
