Staffing Coordinator

Overview: The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of nursing and PSW staff assignments. This includes scheduling staff, responding to staffing requests, arranging replacements, communicating with clients and health care professionals, and maintaining accurate staffing records.. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to last-minute staffing changes. Responsibilities: Coordinate daily and ongoing staffing assignments for RNs, RPNs, and PSWs. Match qualified healthcare professional with client and facility staffing requirements. Prepare and maintain staff schedules and assignment records. Monitor upcoming shifts to identify potential staffing gaps. Arrange replacements for sick calls, cancellations, no-shows, and other unexpected absences.. Communicate staffing assignments, changes, and instructions to nurses, PSWs, clients and healthcare partners
