Salary: $29.61 to $40.31 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English or French Education: College/CEGEP Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: General manufacturing Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Machinist Trade Certification Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic lathes. Milling machines. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail Weight handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs) Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Flexibility. Team player
