Languages: English Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Community or retail pharmacy Tasks: Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage. Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals. Administer budget. Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication. Check prescriptions for proper dosage. Hire and train staff. Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians and other staff Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Certification for drug administration by injection and intranasal route.
