Regional District of Central Kootenay Utility Technician 2Erickson / Creston Valley Full-Time?Benefitted Working closely with other Utility Technicians and senior operators within the Water Services team, this position provides operation, maintenance and system upgrade support for 5 water services (Creston and East Shore area) and may be called upon to provide system support for 13 water systems (Nelson area) within the Regional District of Central Kootenay.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Three years experience working directly with water systems, with preference for at least 2 years experience in a Class 2 water treatment plant employing UF membrane filtration; EOCP (or provincial equivalent) Water Distribution Level 2 certification; EOCP (or provincial equivalent) Water Treatment Level 2 certification; High School Diploma or equivalent; Confined Space Entry; Trenching Safety; WHMIS; Valid Class 5 BC Drivers License with satisfactory Drivers Abstract; and Satisfactory Crimin
