Nursery Labourer

Salary: $18.25 hourly

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience (will train) Work site environment: Floriculture production. Outdoors. Wet/damp. Non-smoking Tasks: Clean the crops. Cut horticultural crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Pot and re-pot plants. Apply fertilizers. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability: Reliability
