Building Operator - Maintenance

What You'll Do - Respond to requests from tenants for in-unit repairs in a timely manner- Assess the reported issue and determine the type of repair and supplies required- Minor carpentry, plumbing, heating, and other miscellaneous repairs.- Respond to emergency building issues such as flooding and heat- Basic maintenance repairs to common areas including changing lightbulbs, unclogging toilets and minor drywall repair- Preventative maintenance and testing as outlined in Regina Housing preventative maintenance plan- Determine facility and equipment needs or problems and coordinate solutions with the appropriate members of the Maintenance team- Snow removal for all properties as necessary- Interact with tenants, contractors, and other staff members in a positive, professional, and sensitive manner. What You Need- Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent- 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance and repair, or a suitable combination of education and experience- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
