The Saskatoon Housing Authority has an employment opportunity with our Community Outreach team; this is a permanent full-time position. The chosen candidate must create stability and successful tenancies for at-risk tenants through pre-emptive interventions by effectively identifying needs, coaching, counselling, and removing barriers that enable community integration, all while fostering and maintaining independence. Key Responsibilities:. Identify tenant behaviours/issues that threaten the tenancy.. Engage appropriate resources to provide preventative supports to increase resilience, life skills development, and to achieve longer-term tenancies.. Facilitate the process for at-risk tenants to engage/participate with community and service providers.. Advocate on behalf of at-risk tenants for access to financial and social assistance programs..
