Hog Farm Supervisor

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Hog management. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Livestock Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Treat livestock health issues. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records.
