Job Summary: Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role primarily involves overseeing the production schedule and coordinating it with the activities before (raw materials, inputs) and after (shipping). This role augments and enhances the Production Scheduler role and provides a liaison across departments to affect the most efficient production plan possible.. As the key contact person between Production, Inventory, Procurement, Shipping, and Sales, this role ensures that materials, information and workflows move efficiently through the plant.. This role can provide backup coverage for the Production Scheduler.. Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: Communication and Liasson: · Maintain clear, proactive communication between shipping, production, procurement, and inventory personnel to prevent delays.. · Main point of contact for the Sales team for order updates.. · Communicate schedule changes, risks, and constraints clearly to stakeholders as and when happens. Planning
