POSITION: Continuing Care AssistantTYPE: Part-time (Temp Jan-June 2027) or CasualSTART DATE: To Be DeterminedPOSITION SCOPE:The Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) is accountable to the residents' for providing quality care. They work under the direction of the Neighbourhood Manager and RN/LPN nursing staff. As a part of a multidisciplinary team the CCA meets the needs of the resident, while working within their scope of employment and within the framework, policies and objectives as set out by Tideview Terrace and the Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care.QUALIFICATIONS:Required:· Approved Continuing Care Assistant Certification as per Department of Seniors and Long-Term Care.· Medication module· Active participation in learning opportunities of the Eden Alternative and organization· Demonstrated ability to work as a team player in an Eden Alternative environment.· Demonstrated commitment to excellence in resident centered care.· The ability to balance tasks with residents' needs.· Act
