Salary: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly

Job Overview: ***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE COOKING in a retirement home setting or long term care*. The cook will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include but are not limited to:. Setting up, sanitizing, cleaning, and organizing work stations. Preparing ingredients for the shift and/or the following shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc, and following food health and safety procedures.. Home Style Cooking is expected, COOKING FULL MEALS FROM START TO FINISH. Storing all food properly, monitoring and recording food temps, fridge temps etc.. Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed Duties: Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and efficiency, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
