Food Service Supervisor

Salary: $18.55 hourly

Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Supervise and check assembly of trays. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys. Establish work schedules and procedures Security and safety: Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Physically demanding. Attention to detail Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Team player
