Registered Dental Hygienist

Location: Shelburne, Ontario

Salary: $45.00 hourly

Responsibilities: Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth. Take and develop dental x-rays. Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes. Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary Requirements: Valid dental hygiene license in the province of Ontario. Proficiency in using dental office software such as Abeldent. Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. Experience working with pediatric and orthodontic patients preferred. Must be available for evening and weekends.
