Outdoors Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel. Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions. Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems. Repair roofing systems. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools. Install sheet metal flashings Area of specialization: Modified roofing system. Single ply sheet membrane roofing system Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Hand-eye co-ordination. Work under pressure Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication.
