Salary: 60-86,000 - negotiable with experience

The Rural Municipality of Souris Valley #7 is seeking a Full-Time Equipment Operator. Reporting to the Foreman, this position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of municipal equipment to support road maintenance, vegetation control, and infrastructure services throughout the municipality. This is a hands-on, multi-functional role. The primary responsibility will be operating a tractor with mower attachment for roadside vegetation management; however, the successful candidate will also assist with grading and other public works activities as required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate a tractor with mower attachment for roadside ditch mowing and vegetation control Operate a motor grader for road maintenance activities such as grading, shaping, crowning, and leveling (as required) Assist with the operation of other municipal equipment (tractor, loader, backhoe, etc.) Perform daily pre- and post-operational inspections
