Organization Overview Ignite Adult Learning Corporation is an education and training facility for adults (ages 16+) who haven't finished their high school education. Roughly 60-70% of our students are Indigenous and the others typically fall into one or more marginalized groups (e.g., newcomers to Canada, LGBTQ2A+ individuals, etc.). Our students work toward an Adult 12 diploma and participate in a variety of other programming. We have a positive and supportive work environment. Position Description The teacher will report to the Executive Director and is responsible for:- Designing and delivering engaging and trauma-informed in-person lessons for Workplace & Apprenticeship Math 20 and Indigenous Studies 30.- Reviewing student work and providing feedback.- Supporting students in completing their optional classes.- Tracking student progress.- Creating a safe, respectful, and fun classroom environment.- Identifying students who require additional support or interventions.- Working collab
