Definition of work: The Pharmacy Technician is responsible and accountable for the technical functions of pharmacy operations. Duties include measuring, packaging & labelling pharmaceuticals, re-stocking nursing units, filling and checking prescriptions, delivering narcotics and other medications, preparation of IV solutions including chemotherapy, ordering from pharmaceutical companies, compounding, record keeping/maintenance for narcotics and other medications, BPMH collections and other assigned duties.
