Diagnose and isolate faults on engines. Discuss work with supervisor. Document your inspection and tests made on engines. Estimate repair costs. Read blueprints to determine work requirements. Review work orders. Instruct apprentices. Perform scheduled maintenance and service. Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment.
