*The Senior Financial Analyst *plays a critical role in the organization's financial health. This position is responsible for managing, budgeting and forecasting processes, performing financial analysis and partnering closely with Departmental Managers to provide financial guidance and support across the City. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the main custodian of the City Budget tools (Questica & Open Book); prepare annual Call for Estimates, coordinate departmental budget reviews, and assist managers with budget-to-actual variance monitoring. Develop rolling forecasts using Questica, Business Central and Power BI; lead monthly business reviews and partner with departments to address financial variance outcomes.. Conduct cost-benefit and PESTEL analyses, maintain the City KPI Dashboard, and support Enterprise Risk Management heat map reporting to drive evidence-based decisions..
