POSITION INFORMATION: Classification: *PHYSIOTHERAPY AIDE* Position: Part Time Casual Probation Period: 6 months DESCRIPTION: Pan Am Rehabilitation Services is a private physiotherapy clinic located within the Pan Am Clinic and is currently seeking a part time Physiotherapy Aide to provide evening coverage. The Physiotherapy Aide will assist with patient treatments under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist. They will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assist physiotherapists with the preparation/application/removal of hot and cold packs, removal of electrical modalities. · Prepares clients for their physiotherapy appointment by welcoming them and bringing them to their designated treatment space.. · Ensure the physiotherapy clinic and equipment are always kept clean. · Maintain clinic tidiness/appearance. · Fabricate soft orthotics, fit custom orthotics in footwear.
