Outdoors Work setting: Commercial. Institutional. Residential. Retail service and repair firm. Installation Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure, mark and cut glass. Position and secure panes in frame. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products. Install door, window and other hardware. Repair glass doors and other glass structures. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Supervise other workers. Transport cases of glass. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Work from man-lift mobile equipment, cranes and other lifting equipment Security and safety: Driver's validity licence check Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence.
