Noisy Work setting: Remote location Tasks: Interpret welding process specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment. Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications. Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine. Brazing machine. Gas welding machine. Soldering machine Area of specialization: Custom fabrication. Process piping Transportation/travel information: Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding.
