Industrial Machinery Maintenance Mechanic

Salary: $35.28/hr

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance routine on production equipment including but not limited to cleaning and lubrication. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems such as belts, chains, motors, gearboxes, PL Cs, motor controls and drives, vision systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Assess and repair equipment in breakdown situations. Provide technical experience and support to the maintenance team. Operate and inspect mobile equipment such as forklift, boom lift, etc. Install new equipment, assisting commissioning when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area, with a good record of activities, following company standards. Maintain a good level of communication with all departments, management and operators. Ensure all work performed adheres to provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications. Identify and report any potential hazards, near misses and incidents.
