Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public. Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Assist other mine workers in setting up and operating machinery and mine equipment Area of specialization: Motor vehicles Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Work under pressure Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Personal suitability: Dependability.
