Retail service and repair firm. Installation Tasks: Determine type of glass, frames and material required. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure, mark and cut glass. Position and secure panes in frame. Prepare tenders and quotations. Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products. Repair glass doors and other glass structures. Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment. Estimate costs and materials. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
