Reporting to the Partner in charge of the Real Estate Department, the Real Estate Paralegal is primarily supporting the efforts of the Real Estate department and related lawyers at our Firm, assisting with the completion of various residential real estate transactions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Performing due diligence for real estate transactions.. Drafting, purchase contracts, trust letters, and other real property and conveyancing related documents.. Requesting and processing mortgage advances, stage payments, and file payouts for residential, commercial, and builders? mortgages.. Reviewing and understanding title work and surveys..
