Sanctum 1.5 is a transitional care home for pregnant women who are at high risk of contracting HIV, are HIV positive or in active substance use. We offer a supportive home for women and facilitate mother-infant bonding and reduce child apprehensions at birth. The home support worker provides care and support to clients. Clients may also be affected by mental illness, addiction, poverty, homeless or other psycho-social factors. The home support worker will embody a patient centered harm reduction care model fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding for residents.
