Livestock Labourer

Salary: $23.80 to $27.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation provided. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Fencing Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals. Diagnose livestock health issues. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform livestock feeding. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Weaning. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Maintain livestock performance records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Set and monitor water
