Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Private clinical laboratories. Medical clinic. Office Tasks: Collect blood, tissue or other samples from patients. Document observations on patients' specimens. Examine the results of the tests. Log patient samples and prepare them for testing. Set up medical laboratory equipment. Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses. Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment. Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques. Discard specimens according to established safety procedures. Administrative and office activities. Schedule and confirm appointments.
