Building Operator - Maintenance

Salary: $20.00 to $27.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Office building. Commercial building Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform safety and security checks. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision Security and safety: Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability: Dependability. Excellent oral communication. Initiative.
