The Municipality of Tantramar's Engineering and Public Works Department is currently accepting applications for a full time, permanent position underCUPE local 1188 for a: Heavy Equipment II Summary of Responsibilities:The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe, skilled, and efficient operation of municipal heavy equipment to support the construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure. This role performs daily equipment inspections, executes assigned work to municipal standards, and ensures all tasks are completed with a high level of safety, professionalism, and accountability. The operator works collaboratively with public works staff, responds to seasonal and emergency operations, maintains accurate work records, and represents the municipality through consistent, reliable service delivery that supports community safety and infrastructure quality. Education and Experience: Must possess a valid New Brunswick class 1E driver's license. Minimum of five (5)
