Salary: $30.50 hourly

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Various locations. Work in employer's/client's home Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Prepare flooring plans and scheduling. Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Estimate costs and materials. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.
