Apiary Technician

Location: Big River, Saskatchewan

Salary: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Apiary Technicians - NOC 84120 - 4 persons required. Must have 2-3 full bee seasons of apiary experience. Job Duties: Must be able to work in presence of honey bees; assist with colony management; honey extraction and processing; queen-rearing; recognize and report beehive health issues and apply appropriate disease cures or controls; keep field and production records; Fixing and building bee equipment; upkeep of various bee yards and to do maintenance work on the work vehicles; and any other apiary jobs that maybe required. Valid driver's license.
