JOB DESCRIPTION Cut Shop Associates cut countertops, doors, moldings, and other products as needed. They are responsible for securing and maintaining all cut shop tools and equipment, while maintaining a clear safety mindset.RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of cut shop tools, saws and dust collection systems Communicates with customers, sales associates and shippers to ensure that work orders are properly scheduled Ensure those entering the cut shop follow safety protocols Builds custom wooden items for store use and product merchandising Cut countertops and building materials according to customer order specifications with accuracy and minimal wasteQUALIFICATIONS Safety mindset Carpentry/ woodworking/ building experience is preferred Experience using a variety of saws (table, miter, jig, circular, band) is an asset High attention to detail - will be required to measure and cut materials accurately and according to customer/ project specifications Abl
