Tow Truck Driver

Salary: $28.00 to $33.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Tasks: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Air Brakes Endorsement. Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Transportation/travel information: Drive manual transmission vehicle. Valid driver's licence Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots Health benefits: Dental plan.
