Job Summary: Working as part of the Recycling team, the Recycling Casual assists in all areas of the operation. The role of Recycling Casual is vital in achieving agency goals. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Safely operate industrial vehicles in completing assigned tasks.2. Perform confidential shredding tasks.3. Manually sort recoverable materials e.t. metal, paper, plastic from waste.4. Work in accordance with Cosmo Shreds NAID (National Association for Information Destruction) policies and procedures for handling confidential material.5. Supervise and work along-side program participants working on the sort belt and/or in shredding area.6. Complete routine maintenance checks on equipment as required; report concerns.7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; compliance with and participation in all safe work procedures and cleaning/disinfecting tasks.8.
