Medical Laboratory Technologist ? Laboratory ? Temporary Part-Time: Primary Duties: · Performs investigative procedures through detailed analysis, assay and examination of specimens. · Performs testing within the disciplines of Chemistry; Transfusion Medicine; Haematology; Microbiology; Specimen Collection and Cardiac Testing. · Practices in accordance with the provincial regulations set out by the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO); hospital policy and procedures. · Is knowledgeable of, and follows the quality management processes. · Reports quality issues to technical director and senior MLT responsible for quality management. · Supports and actively participates in quality improvement activities to facilitate change in the workplace. · Assures that critical results are communicated to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner. · Assesses and prioritizes workload. · Other related duties as assigned Education & Experience: · New grads welcome. · Canad
