Nursery Labourer

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English or French Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: Experience an asset Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Hot Work setting: Rural area. On-site customer service Tasks: Greenhouse cleaning. Mixing fertilizer. Weeding. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Apply fertilizers. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Provide advice about merchandise. Operate industrial trucks, tractors and other mobile equipment Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player Other benefits: Free parking available
