Production Accountant

Salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually

Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Production Accountant assists with leading the production accounting department and team, always following financial processes and procedures of the company. Responsible for supporting a wide variety of non-union production content and overseeing the accounting on multiple in-house productions. The Production Accountant works closely with the line producer and production manager on all production and associated cost reporting and accounting, managing production payroll, and various accounting duties within the department. The Production Accountant will be directly involved with obtaining financing, and all post-production responsibilities including preparing and overseeing the production audit/review engagement. Specific Accountabilities: With the Production Manager, maintain appropriate documentation for deal memos, contracts, and timesheet for processing.. Complete T4 and T4A filings..
