Salary: $24.00 to $35.00 hourly

Qualifications and Core Skills: At least 3 years? experience in custom fabrication is an asset. At least 3 years? experience in MIG and Stick welding, TIG welding is an asset. Ability to properly use precision tools to take accurate measurements. Solid knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials. Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and manuals. Solid math and analytical skills. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Majority of tasks are completed independently, but must work with other team members, including mechanical designers, all trades, other welders, and supervisors, to plan work, confirm measurements and calculations, and to assist co-workers with tasks. Discuss work assignments with supervisor to understand expectations. Excellent time management skills. Strong communication skills.
