Greenhouse Labourer

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Greenhouse Tasks: Clean the crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Guide growing shoots into optimal development positions. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Pot and re-pot plants. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens. Clean work area. Monitor equipment to detect wear and damage. Load and unload goods. Follow emergency and safety procedures. Plant and move trees Area of specialization: Nursery or greenhouse Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding.
